Day 2 of the 19th PROVINZIALE
On Sunday, Anke Lucks’ and Almut Schlichting’s Insomnia Brass Band welcomed us to the third and fourth competition block. In the short feature films, two Cambodian productions started for the first time: “Always Further Away” by Polen Ly and “Sound of the Night” by Chanrado Sok and Kongkea Vann, complemented by the short documentaries Murmur (Katharina Pichler, Austria) and “The Mountains Sing” (Xiao Yang, China).
The long documentary “Yonagumi” was presented by its two Italian directors Anush Hamzehian and Vittorio Mortarotti.
Finally, the Robert Löbel presented his own career as an animated filmmaker in the festival shed in a very entertaining and insightful way.
