Day 3 of the 21th PROVINZIALE
After a turbulent weekend, the Provinziale is now all about the competitions. Two guests from Kyrgyzstan presented their work yesterday in the fourth block: Alizhan Nasirov presented his short documentary MEDIC about a young country doctor and Janyl Jusupjan came to Eberswalde with ATIRKÜL IN THE LAND OF REAL MEN. We moved to the festival club for the film discussion, where we were able to take time for a detailed follow-up.
Meanwhile, the next competition block had already begun, in which Armando Avallone presented his short documentary LES AVENTURIERS.
FAVO 2, “Berlin’s smallest grooving band” with Falk Breitkreuz (bass clarinet) and Volker Holly Schlott (soprano saxophone) led us musically through the evening.
