Die Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen / Terms and Conditions /
Germany / 2020 / Documentary / 20 min
OT German / UT -
Although rarely evident, the province has long become woven into the fabric of global economy and the problems and challenges it presents. In 'Terms and Conditions', the protagonists try to make a virtue out of necessity by producing stylised images of their small farm and selling them to mend their money box, which has been worn out by dumping prices and drought periods. The film thus literally pictures a trade which has always crucially shaped rural landscapes and is now expected to change profoundly on the part of politicians and society as a whole. For all the problems it presents, it still has a refreshing laconic and self-ironic touch.
