Cornelius Koch was born in Berlin-Wilmersdorf on 11 Sep 1988. At the early age of 12, he took his first, tentative steps towards animated film. Between 2009 and 2013, he studied film science and philosophy at the University of Mainz. Since 2013, he has continued his studies with a consecutive master‘s degree in time-based media at HS Mainz.

Carla Pereira studied visual arts, besides illustration and stop motion. Among other projects, she has contributed to Wes Anderson‘s Isle of Dogs. Juan Fran Jacinto has mainly studied sculpting and worked artistically for Spanish live-action film producers. Metamorphosis is their first short film.

Till Giermann, born 1983 in Anklam, has worked for TV and cinema film projects, as a floor manager‘s assistant and in other functions. Today he lives in Dresden.
