Yesterday we enrolled the new “Gateway to the Province” with the help of artist Holger Barthel. He discribed it in his own words:

The artist’s idea gives a textbook example of how urban and rural environments contrast and collide.

Floating, atmospheric paintings of larger-than-life fruit are bound to surprise the visitors. In addition, they provide a link to the market life on the open square beyond.
