Day 6 of the 19th PROVINZIALE
On Thursday, three competition blocks joined together to form a long night of films. “School of Hope” by Mohammed El Aboudi kicked things off with a Moroccan story about a Bedouin school foundation. The second block featured a country focus – all the short feature films and one animated film were from France. A third block concluded with the short documentaries “My Neighbor, Death” (Iran, Radvin Khodadadi) and Fati’s Decision (Ghana/South Africa, Fatimah Dadzie) as well as the animation “Oh, Whose Is The Rye” (Ukraine, Anna Shveigolz / Vasiliy Efremov).
