A man and a woman work on the production of an animated film. He does the animation at night whereas she repairs the equipment during the day. Behind the scene another woman is already waiting for her performance. It is an animated cartoon which tells a story about life lines and interchangeability and gives insights into cinematic work.

Wouter Bongaerts (born 1986) graduated in Genk, Belgium with his animated short Mouse for Sale. Winning the grant of the Animation Wildcard of the Flanders Audiovisual Fund (VAF) he made his first professional short Mia at the animation studio Creative Conspiracy, based in Gent. Shortly after, he started developing a new short which became Panta Rhei, made in the same studio. After working mostly in 3D computer animation Panta Rhei is his first classical 2D short film. Apart from making short films, Wouter also works on tv-pilots and commercials a freelance animation director.

When all is said and done, a man once more visits the flat of his deceased mother. Memories rise of quarrels and arguments, of contacts and farewells. This stop-motion film shows a tender and sensitive view of mother and son.

Michael Cusack was born in Manchester, UK and moved to Adelaide South Australia when he was 11 years old. In collaboration with his Producer, Richard Chataway, he was responsible for setting up the animation department at the South Australian Film Corporation. Since then Michael has forged a flourishing career as director of both high end television commercials and a number of successful short films.

Anne Isensee is a Berlin based animator, filmmaker and graphic designer. After interning at the Balance Film GmbH and Hahn Film AG she studied Animation at the Filmuniversity Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. In 2015, she participated at the International Workshop of Animated Film in Lanckorona/ Krakow (PL), led by Jerzy Kucia, 2016 she was part of the Inbetween Animation und Game Design Workshop during the Fantoche Festival in Baden (CH). Anne Isensee is a member of AG Animationsfilm.

Patrick Vandebroeck studied animation at the RITCS in Brussels. In 1994 he graduated with his short movie the ‘Juggins’, a short movie in plasticine and stop motion. Directly after his studies, he started as an all-round animator in an animation studio in Brussels on different idents for TV and commercials. After a couple of years he became director. There was always a curiosity for different animation techniques. In the projects he did after were also more live action involved in mixture with graphics and animation. One of the first adventures in this style, were the realization of a few video clips of Belgium famous rock bands. Since 2000 he directed various international corporate movies, where he improved constantly his way of storytelling. The Gap is his first short movie.

Filmmaker/artist Rosto and his Studio Rosto A.D have created music videos and TV work but are internationally best known for his independent short films. Music has always been the driving force in Rosto’s work. For his opus The Monster of Nix this resulted in collaborations with the Metropole Orchestra, The Residents, Terry Gilliam and Tom Waits. With Reruns a series of four musical films, Thee Wreckers Tetralogy, is concluded. The first three films are No Place Like Home (2008), Lonely Bones (2013) and Splintertime (2015). Rosto is currently working on the feature film adaptation of Mind My Gap while meditating on other projects.
