Visitors to an animal show in the Oderbruch will see mostly small livestock and its breeders. In the breeder-animal relationship, who shapes whom and how? What can animals tell us about their humans, breeders about the animals and both collectively about life in the province?

SHORT DOCUMENTARY SERIES by Leonard Kraut and Flavin Braß, DE 2023, German

The REGIONAL.KLANG documentary series portraits musicians from Eberswalde, their creative processes, challenges and inspirations. From singer/songwriter to hip-hop and club music, various artists reflect on their relationships with music and how it shapes their lives. They talk about the power of music, about technology and creativity and how their environment influences their works.

Beaver Beaver Masterbuilder is an animated natural history of beavers in Europe.
Sitting, scraping and eating – beavers fell trees, build dams and change waterways. A beaver has whiskers like a cat, a nose like a dog, can swim like a crocodile and knocks its tail to warn of danger.

Heimatfenster presents a selection of short films produced by young people in cooperation with professional filmmakers. They come from the regions of Märkisch-Oderland, Barnim and Uckermark.

The short films comprised in this year’s children’s programme at Guten Morgen Eberswalde will especially appeal to our youngest visitors. They will see a flying whale, sour candy, a robot bee, a flying competition, what it’s like to be a big sister and a dangerous tiger who is not scared at all.
